Ceramic planter manufacturing in China, done right.
China makes most of the world's ceramic planters for a reason: centuries of kiln and glaze expertise, deep component supply chains, and scale that keeps full-container pricing sharp. We manufacture there through a small network of vetted factories — with staged quality control and one accountable partner in your time zone.
Why China
What Chinese factories do best.
Glaze mastery. Reactive glazes, crackle finishes, and multi-tone effects that are difficult to reproduce consistently anywhere else — Chinese kiln masters have generations of practice, and it shows in the finished piece.
Scale economics. For full-container orders, China's component ecosystem — clay bodies, pigments, packaging, fittings — keeps per-unit costs down without cutting corners on the product itself.
Speed at volume. Established factories run large kilns on tight schedules. Once your sample is approved, a full container moves from production to port in weeks, not months.
That said, not every factory is worth your container. We've spent years separating the factories that deliver from the ones that just quote — and we only manufacture with the first group. Read how the two countries compare in our Vietnam vs. China sourcing guide.
How we work
One partner, zero factory roulette.
Importers usually face a choice: fly to China and manage factories yourself, or hand your specs to a trading company and hope. We built a third option.
Vetted factory network. We manufacture with a small set of factories we've worked with for years — chosen for consistent glaze quality, honest timelines, and export experience. Your production goes to the factory that fits your product, not whoever answered the email fastest.
Staged QC. Inspections during production and before shipment, checked against your approved physical sample. Problems get caught at the factory, never at your warehouse. See how we work for the full process.
Design in your time zone. Product development happens with our Arizona studio — no 2 a.m. calls, no lost-in-translation spec sheets. The factory executes; we manage.
Full-container logistics. Export packing engineered for the journey, documentation handled, FOB or CIF to your port. Browse the product range or start with a custom brief.
Common questions
What importers ask about manufacturing in China.
What is the MOQ for ceramic planters from China?
Fully custom OEM designs generally start at one full container per design. Stock-range products can be combined into mixed containers. Tell us your volume and we'll tell you straight what's feasible.
How long does production take?
After sample approval, typically 4–8 weeks for full-container production depending on the glaze complexity and order size, plus ocean transit. We give you an honest timeline with your quote.
How do you handle quality control?
Staged inspections during production and a pre-shipment check against your approved sample — color, glaze, dimensions, packing. Anything off gets fixed at the factory before the container seals.
China or Vietnam — which should I choose?
It depends on your product and priorities: China leads on glaze complexity and scale; Vietnam can win on certain cost structures and tariff situations. We manufacture in both and recommend based on your brief, not our convenience. Our comparison guide breaks it down.
Who owns my designs?
You do. Private-label products developed with you are exclusive to you — we never sell your designs to anyone else.
